Dust Collector Solenoid Valves / Pulse Valves

Pulse solenoid valves, or Dust Collector Valves are designed for use in filtering systems of dust collectors.  They are most commonly used to clean cartridge filters, ceramic filters, and fibre filters.

The solenoid valves are based on a pilot operated principal (or indirect acting principal) with the purpose of providing a large volume of compressed air as a short pulse when energised.   Pulse Valves feature a strong but light-weight diaphragm with a tight shut off and a large orifice to provide the maximum possible flow and fast operating speed.  The bodies are made from lightweight aluminium and there are options for seal types, voltages and port sizes.

How they work:

When the solenoid coils are energised the valves open and a pulse of the retained air in the system escapes quickly, in turn this causes a shock wave within the filter which pushes the dust that has accumulated in the filters.   The dust falls to the bottom of a bag and generally collected and taken away.
