The Comparato Diamant Range of Electric Actuators
If you were to ask us what was the most popular product for V-Flow Solutions, it would be an easy answer……. The Comparato Diamant actuator.
We were able to recognise the potential of the Diamant range of actuators as soon as it launched.
The engineers at Comparato Nello Srl. had designed a very compact electric actuator that could provide sufficient torque output to operate brass or plastic ball valves up to 1 1/4″.
It had various options available such as manual override, anti-condensation space heater, additional switches for position confirmation and feedback.
It featured a reversible motor which was available in various voltages such as 24vAC/DC, 12vAC/DC, 230v/50-60Hz. & 110v/50-60Hz.
As with all Comparato products, they manufacture them in Italy to very high standards.
Upgraded and Improved
Last year the Diamant range did receive an upgrade and improvements.
Diamant Pro became the new name.
It still had the same features and quality but the new enclosure was strengthened and modified to give an ingress protection of IP67.
Further improvements included the ‘all in one’ connection option which enabled the installer to choose how they wished to wire the actuator, this was achieved by changing a jumper on the circuit board.
The Diamant Pilot also has the ability modulate with options of 4-20mA and 0-10v control… Probably one of the smallest modulating electric actuators on the market.
These improvements made the actuator one of the highest quality and most cost-effective units in its class.
