Two 8˝ Wafer Pattern Butterfly Valves Fitted To Explosionproof ATEX Electric Actuators Required For A Seawater Application.

V-Flow Solutions recently supplied two normally open 8˝ (200mm) wafer pattern butterfly valves with cast iron-Rilsan coated body, aluminium bronze disc & EPDM liner, pressure rated up to 16 bar, suitable for flanges PN10, PN16& ANSI 150 with a temperature range of -20˚C to +130˚C.

The valves were fitted to  V-Flow Type HQ: Model 020 EXA reversible electric on-off actuators which have  explosion proof ATEX ll 2G Eexd ll B T4 enclosures, 4 x limit switches, visual position indicators, anti-condensation heater & selectable manual override.

The ATEX actuators can also be supplied  as a package with a  wide range of other valves.  Our range includes fire-safe and anti-static valves, all with ATEX approval.

In the past, we have also supplied this range of actuators to control high-performance butterfly valves such as the EBRO double and triple offset valves.
